Stress Support Session at New Vision UMC
Tuesday, November 30, 2021 - 4:00pm to 6:00pm

Many people remain at a loss for words when describing the stress we have experienced over the past two years. Some have faced major health challenges alone or with limited social support. Others have lost loved ones while at the same time not being able to fully grieve. A number of people remain confused as to what the new normal will be. Everyone is concerned about what the future will hold. As the body of Christ, our usual ways of supporting each other have been disrupted. Every American is carrying some emotional damage from recent events.  Recognizing how traumatic these events have been, it is now time for us to spend time processing all that has happened to us so help us move forward.

In an effort to begin healing, New Vision United Methodist Church is offering a support meeting on Tuesday, November 30, 2021.  Light refreshments will be provided. Wanting to maintain a healthy environment and social distance, the maximum number of participants will be capped at 20. Each person muyst be fully vaccinated and masked.

Two emotional health professionals with strong church backgrounds will lead two small group sessions, each 90 minutes.

RSVP with Catherine Harris in the church office at 513.961.4817 by noon on November 29, 2021.
