Rev. Brian Brown, Superintendent

Brian completed his undergraduate degree at Virginia Union University and his theological education at Howard University and Samuel DeWitt School of Theology, where he received his M.Div. He is currently enrolled in the D.Min. program at United Theological Seminary with a focus on church leadership empowered by the Holy Spirit. He was ordained an elder in the Virginia Conference in 2000 where he served several different churches before coming to Ginghamsburg UMC in Tipp City in 2008. As the teaching pastor at Ginghamsburg, Brian was a strong spiritual leader, teacher and person of prayer. His tenure as Superintendent of the Ohio River Valley began July 1, 2011. Rev. Dr. Jocelyn Roper, Assistant to the Superintendent

Jocelyn is the mother of five children and grandmother of three. She was born and raised in Springfield, OH . In her spare time she enjoys watching the History Channel, the Biography Channel and listening to National Public Radio. Before becoming the assistant to the D.S., she was the pastor at Mt. Nancy Newton, Office Administrator

Nancy is a Cincinnati native with two children; Scott, in the Army and stationed at Ft. Bragg and Abby, a junior at Ohio University. Nancy is a member of Anderson Hills UMC where she enjoys working with youth, serving as a lay member to annual conference, and volunteering for the Shalom Coalition of Habitat for Humanity. Cindi Dietrich, Finance Manager

Cindi is married to Gregg and they have one child, Jonathan, who is a junior at Anderson High School. Cindi grew up in parsonages in the Cincinnati area and outside of Xenia. Cindi is a member at Cherry Grove United Methodist Church where the entire family is involved in a variety of ministries.
