Rev. Dr. Randy Stearns, District Superintendent

Randy was raised in Monroe and attended Faith UMC in Middletown. He has been in ministry since 1979

Serving the 3 point Belfast Student Charge in the Wilmington District for four years
Serving Associate of Youth at Grove City for two years
Serving 18 years at Brice in Columbus South
Serving 3 years as Springfield District Superintendent
Serving 1.5 years as Ohio River Valley District Superintendent
His wife Melanie, an educator, is presently working at Armstrong Chapel UMC as their Christian Education/Spiritual Formation Director. They have 3 children: Will is a junior at Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia, Missy is a freshman at Univ. of Toledo and Lyndsey is freshman at Loveland High School.

Rev. Jocelyn Roper, Assistant Superintendent

Jocelyn is the mother of five children and grandmother of two. She was born and raised in Springfield, OH . In her “spare” time she enjoys watching the History Channel, the Biography Channel and listening to National Public Radio. Before becoming the assistant to the D.S., she was the pastor at Mt. Healthy UMC for 5 years. Jocelyn is an author, teacher and consultant for many UM organizations.

Nancy Newton, Office Administrator

Nancy is a Cincinnati native who has been married to her husband, Bill, for 24 years. They have two children; Scott, a member of the Army National Guard serving the US in Operation Iraqi Freedom; and Abby, a recent graduate of Anderson High School who will be going to Ohio University this fall. Nancy is a member of Anderson Hills UMC where she enjoys serving as a Stephen Minister, a member of the Shalom Habitat team, and a youth leader.

Cindi Dietrich, Finance Manager

Cindi is married to Gregg and they have one child, Jonathan, who is in 8th grade at Nagel Middle School. Cindi grew up in parsonages in the Cincinnati area and outside of Xenia. Cindi is a member at Cherry Grove United Methodist Church where the entire family is involved in a variety of ministries. Cindi serves as the lay member to annual conference and coordinates the children's ministries for the church.

Rev. Kim Seiberling, Greenhouse Director

Kim was born in Seoul, Korea and raised in rural Central Pennsylvania. Eric, Kim's husband, is a the director of business transformation for a Pittsburgh based consulting company. They have one daughter, Lindsey. In addition to Kim's district duties, she serves Elberon United Methodist church located in Price Hill. The Seiberling family resides with two adorable pugs and one very fat cat. When not working, Kim might be found; entertaining friends, scrapbooking, reading, at the theater or traveling to exotic locations.
