ACTS 2 CONGREGATIONS

We celebrate with seventy five new churches who joined the list of Acts 2 Congregations in the West Ohio Conference this year. Of those, ten are from the Ohio River Valley District! These churches have demonstrated fruitfulness in the following six areas: - Professions of Faith - Baptisms - Growth in Worship Attendance - Growth in Membership - Faith Forming Groups - 100% Apportionments Paid This year's churches meeting all 6 criteria are: Anderson Hills, Batavia Emmanuel, Friendship, Hamilton Park Avenue, Hope, Jacksonburg, Loveland, Marbly Memorial, Mason, and Olive Branch. At last year's Annual Conference, these ORV churches were designated as Acts 2 Congregations: Armstrong Chapel, Bethany, Darrtown, Epiphany, Faith Community, John Wesley, Locust Corner, Mason, McGonigle-Millville, Monfort Heights, Monroe, Newtown, Owensville, Sharonville, Villar's Chapel A siginificant number of churches in the Ohio River Valley have met varying numbers of the six criteria and are working their way to becoming designated as an Acts 2 Congregation.
